2017 was another great year for Survey PRAEG the Gàidhlig media survey. We’ll fondly remember it as ‘the year of the groups’ with an impressive 27 new community groups joining our community fundraising scheme and raising money for their projects.

We travelled across the country – from the Western Isles to the Central Belt to promote the panel; one of our highlights was meeting so many current new and panellists at the Royal National Mód in Fort William.

Our prize draws continued to be popular and we worked with a range of local companies to offer great Scottish prizes from Sunglasses, Chocolates, Gin and Celtic Connections tickets.

Members receive credits for filling in our surveys and those credits are then converted into charity donations, community group fundraising or vouchers.  During 2017 we…

…donated £934 to our nominated charities – Age Scotland, Scottish SPCA and Cancer Research UK.

…donated £3,445 to various community groups including choirs, pipe bands, youth clubs and many others.

…rewarded our members with £9,795 worth of shopping vouchers for a bit of retail therapy.
